Pathways to Employment Success

The Pathways to Employment Success program provides youth with opportunities to explore future career options, as well as practice the crucial skills needed to seek employment. We work with students & staff in the local school districts (Riverview School District and Snoqualmie Valley School District) to plan activities and events that are relevant to youth’s employment development. It is our hope that youth will recognize there are many rewarding paths to success.

PROGRAM OFFERINGS

Scholarships

The deadline to apply for our 2026 scholarships has passed. You can still learn more about the Sophie Theriault Empower Youth Voice and Tanner Electric STEM Scholarships below for next year. Scholarships will be open to apply for again in spring 2027.

Job Skills Institute

This 6-Series Workshop is designed to prepare students with resources, skills, habits, and worksite knowledge needed to increase their confidence and competitive advantage when entering the job market.

Individually Curated Workshops
Thanks to our incredible network of community partners, we are able to channel their ideas and expertise into ultra specialized workshops for students. Based off of the research we do on career advising, mental health, and industry standards as well as the direct feedback from students on the support they specifically need, we merge local youth and professional perspectives to yield community as a path finding resource right here at home. An example of a recent workshop we facilitated in this sense was a workshop that focused on purpose exploration through concepts like Ikigai, vision boarding, and self-efficacy.
Pathways Exploration

Worksite Tours give students the chance to learn what a company does, observe work in progress, and hear from employees in different departments about their educational and professional pathways.

Industry Talks give students insight into the wide variety of goods, services, and career opportunities within a business.

Career Guest Speakers allow students to hear from a range of professionals that can share their individual stories, perspectives, experiences, and answer direct questions

If you or your business are interested in supporting any of these opportunities, contact the Pathways to Employment Success Coordinator below under ‘Program Leadership’!

THANK YOU to our supporters that lend their expertise and insights for free to support the next generation of leaders across Snoqualmie Valley!

Pathways to Employment Success is currently seeking to expand our network of connections with local businesses and organizations that are open to the idea of high school students tackling projects you don’t have time for, supporting administrative operations that may be slowing you down, managing social media you can’t keep up with, addressing mechanical issues you haven’t been able to solve—or helping in any area where you could use additional support and optimization. There are capable, innovative and skilled young people waiting!
