Looking for a fun way to kick off the summer? Youth ages 11-18 can join us at First Light Farms & Learning Center on Wednesday, July 8 from 2-3:30 p.m. for a FREE harvesting and tasting experience.
Tomatoes and peppers and flowers, oh my! Experience the farm hands-on as you pick seasonal crops, get a behind the scenes tour, and finally, enjoy sampling and preparing your fresh produce.
PLEASE READ: As Summer starts to heat up, please be prepared for warm/sunny weather, however there are plenty of shady spots we will use for rest. Please wear closed toe shoes, and come prepared with a hat and sunscreen.
Parents/guardian information:
This event is for youth in middle or high school. Parents are advised to drop off youth to provide them with a safe space to interact peer to peer with Empower Youth Network employee supervision. Please prepare to pick youth up at 3:30 p.m.
