Valley Innovation Project: A Student Entrepreneurial Event

Snoqualmie Valley high school students, are you ready to solve real-world business challenges by using entrepreneurial thinking and innovation?  Join us for a two-day event, where you will be grouped in teams and matched with advisors from local businesses in the Valley to solve a business challenge from our featured business, Remlinger Farms!

You will gain hands-on experience by working directly with industry advisors on actual business problems.  Whether you are passionate about marketing, finance, technology or entrepreneurship, this event offers a unique platform to apply your skills and knowledge in a real-world setting.

Date & Venue:

Launch: April 26, 2024 11:30 a.m. – 3:30 p.m.

Judged Competition: May 3, 2024 11:30 a.m.-3:30 p.m.

Buses will be provided to take students from their school to Remlinger Farms for the event.

Highlights:

• Launch Day–meet your team and your business advisories.  Opening session speaker, Pete Nelson, from Treehouse Masters, will give an overview of the event and get you ready.  Lunch will be provided by Remlinger Farms and then teams will have a quick design challenge. You will have time to pick your challenge and work time with your team.
• Event Day–You will have time to practice your presentation pitch with your teams and then present to a team of judges.  There will be music, karaoke and other activities once your presentation is complete.  After lunch, prizes will be awarded to the top three teams.
