The Empower Youth Network offers youth development programming throughout the Snoqualmie Valley in Washington State and works in partnership with organizations around the Puget Sound’s Eastside. We are excited to launch our fourth annual conference on building resilience and becoming a trauma-informed community on March 8, 2024, 8 a.m.-3:15 p.m. Pacific Time. We welcome people from all walks of life to this day-long learning opportunity: laypeople, parents, educators, social service providers, and you! Resilience Rising will be held entirely online in 2024 to make it as available as possible to as many folks as possible. Please click the agenda button/tab for a look at the draft conference line-up.
Please join us for this free event to learn and share together with amazing and diverse speakers including Dr. Julie Pham, Dr. Ben Danielson, Swil Kanim, Tilman Smith, Aidan Key, and so many other wise and creative voices.
Up to five Washington State OSPI-approved or American Psychological Association-approved Clock Hours are available for this event if desired. Most workshops will be recorded and available for viewing by ticket-holders for 3 months following the conference, but video viewing does not qualify an attendee for clock hours. Sessions must be attended in real time to qualify for clock hours.
We will offer a Spanish language track of sessions, including interpretation for the two keynote presentations. Below are instructions that may be helpful for our Spanish-speaking community to access this conference platform using the Google Chrome browser. Please reach out to us with any Spanish-language support needs.
