FreeFREE event for Parents of children ages 9-14
Join us for this 5 session proven-effective prevention program that gives parents the skills they need to ensure the future well-being of their children.
The goal of this program is to prevent substance abuse among teens by teaching parents of preteens and younger adolescents the skills they need to improve family communication. Parents will learn specific strategies to help children avoid drug use and other problem behaviors.
Participants report feeling better prepared for the challenges that can come as children grow.
We will meet from 6:00-8:00pm on 1/18, 1/25, 2/1, 2/8, & 2/15 (youth are invited to the closing session).
