The #BeSmartDontStart substance use prevention campaign at Cedarcrest High School provides teens with clear, data driven information about the standards of behavior that exist in their community to correct misperceptions of teen substance use. For example, according to the 2021 Healthy Youth Survey, most CHS 10th and 12th graders did not drink alcohol in a typical month. This campaign looks to inform and build consensus around making safe and healthy choices.
